Kawasaki makes great motorcycles, but the ZX-10 is not one of them. It’s a pile. Tom Sykes knows that, but he hasn’t given up. Tho the design has aged out, Sykes is a fine example of working as hard as you can with what you’ve got, all the while knowing better days are ahead. Next year he’ll have a brand new weapon between his legs.
Now, before you ZX-10 owners have a conniption fit, we realize the bike won several magazine shoot outs, etc etc. Apparently it had some street creds. But the thing is an utter abomination when pushing the envelope… or even looking at the envelope. Szoke, who rode it in Canada, is a second quicker on the CBR1000RR this year using the same tires at the same tracks.
I’m just sayin’…
