Ammar Bazzaz is managing the Pat Clark Motorsports race team and its two riders this year, Chris Clark the young gun and Steve Rapp the wiley veteran. Using these fine riders, Mr. Bazzaz gives us a rare look into the world of "data", that mysterious stuff they download from race bikes these days and then stare at so intently, mouths agape.

Did Ammar give any hint as to when they are going to start selling the program. If I understand right it is a Bazzaz design software and I would guess that they designed it to bring into production for their line of products.

Dave2van, it's not a bazzaz product he's using in the video. It's a Motec system

Dave for some reason I thought they were working on a unit you would think it would be a natural progression for the company

Dave, this may be the best video you ever posted. Okay, I'm a geek but there is so much here to learn for a trackday rider with ambitions. THANX. (I'm going to spread the word.)

Dave2van:
I'm working on a system using "Consumer Off The Shelf" (COTS) hardware and free open source software that will be capable of the GPS trace (at least). I'm doing this as a trackday enthusiast and to promote my engineering practice. It would be improper for me to say anything more on this forum.

It would be good for riders who do track days and or potential racers who would like to have systems like that, to get an edge of better their times with.
I know I could use something like that, get into contact with me if you need some testing done.
