OnTheThrottle.TV is thrilled to announce a new web series, “Taking Performance to New Heights,” featuring Jake Holden and SBK Factory and their quest to win the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The series will take you behind-the-scenes with Holden and his team as they prepare for the legendary race up America’s mountain—a 12.42-mile ride that climbs over 5,000 feet with 156 turns. The first episode will be all about the bike itself, giving viewers an inside look at the Kawasaki ZRX1224RR Superbike, a high performance, stylized reproduction of the Eddie Lawson replica. Following episodes will be all about the rider, the race, the test, and more. The web series will be begin later this month, so be sure to stay tuned. GEICO Motorcycle Road Racing Team Rider Dane Westby Sidelined at Daytona Opener

The GEICO Motorcycle Road Racing team offers a glimpse behind the scenes at their pre-season test at Jennings GP and at the 2013 GEICO Motorcycle Road Racing season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway. Rider Dane Westby was injured and sidelined when 2007 Daytona 200 winner and race vet Steve Rapp was chosen to takes Dane’s place. Dane is expected to make a full recovery for Round 2 when the 2013 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing Series heads to Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
